We're looking for a dynamic and proactive Office Manager to help us maintain Lighthouse Games' position as the newest desirable place to work. We're looking for someone to positively influence the studio atmosphere and environment by the work they're doing.
You will be the champion of happiness and wellbeing of our amazing team, while also demonstrating the skills required to ensure the smooth running of the facility.
Key Duties Include
* Responsible for the look and feel of the studio - artwork, mood, atmosphere
* Pro-active maintenance of the building with trusted partners and managing associated issues - cleaning, security, landlord, handyman
* Supplier selection and the procurement of goods and services
* Planning, organising and overseeing corporate events and in-studio activities. This should include but not be limited to: Seasonal in-studio events, staff lunches, teambuilding/bonding events, quarterly all-hands and parties
* Organising employee travel within the UK and abroad
* Purchasing office supplies and consumables, handling post
* Creating and developing company policies including recycling, waste management and sustainability
* Assisting with the raising of Purchase Orders for related tasks
* Ensuring we remain Health and Safety compliant
* Employee assistance related to office facilities and services
* Editing and compiling a monthly staff newsletter
Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar role with a track record of success
* Exceptional written communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficient with all MS Office apps and ideally Trello or similar workflow/project management tools
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
* Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
* A positive attitude and a passion for delivering and maintaining a vibrant, supportive and inclusive studio environment
* A creative mind with a flair for design
