Applications are invited for the position of a Clinical Fellow in Rheumatology/GIM for 6 months with the possibility of extension thereafter. Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within General Medicine or allied specialties and must have attained at least MRCP Part 1 or equivalent.
The Rheumatology department provides patient care for the full range of general rheumatological conditions including complex MSK disorders and inflammatory arthritides. It is a regional specialized centre for patients with complex inflammatory disorders such as autoimmune connective tissue diseases and vasculitides.

The successful applicant will join the existing team of speciality trainees in Rheumatology and General Internal Medicine. They will be required to provide in-patient care in both rheumatology and General internal Medicine and also support out-patient services in Rheumatology. The post provides excellent opportunities to enhance general professional skills in teaching, leadership, quality improvement and research.
