About The Role
We are seeking a proactive HR Advisor to join our team and play a key role in supporting our organisation’s people strategy. This is a dynamic and varied role, requiring a hands-on approach to deliver a wide range of generalist HR activities, including employee relations, colleague engagement, induction processes, HR reporting, organisational restructures, and policy development.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations:
1. Provide expert advice and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes.
2. Ensure compliance with UK employment law and organisational policies.
3. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
Colleague Engagement:
1. Plan and implement engagement initiatives to enhance employee morale and satisfaction. Analyse engagement surveys and develop action plans to address feedback.
2. Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organisation.
Induction And Onboarding:
1. Manage and continuously improve the induction programme to provide a welcoming and effective start for new hires.
2. Partner with managers to ensure successful integration of new employees into teams.
HR Reporting:
1. Prepare and analyse HR metrics and reports to inform decision-making. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to turnover, absence, and engagement.
2. Provide insights and recommendations to improve HR practices.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following:
1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
2. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.
3. Experience working in a HR role/environment.
4. CIPD is advantageous but qualifications can be provided for the right person.
5. Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
