What The Job Covers
• Executing media relations to earn SEO-valuable backlinks across a wide variety of client sites, gaining exposure to many client industries and media verticals;
• Pro-actively sourcing new potential links and building strong relationships with media contacts;
• Contributing to ideation sessions and client Digital PR strategies as required, building knowledge of what makes a successful Digital PR campaign;
• Assisting in the development of Digital PR campaigns and strategies across the full suite of EMEA Digital PR clients as needed;
• Carrying out industry research as directed to increase own understanding and contribute to iteration and improvement of Greenpark’s Digital PR offering.
Responsibilities
• Work closely with the Digital PR Lead and wider account teams to deliver link building PR campaigns;
• Measure and report on link building efforts with guidance from Digital PR Lead;
• Develop and maintain strong personal relationships with key publishers
(journalists, bloggers and PRs), entailing identification of key publications through social media/link analysis, use of journalist databases, real engagement with online communities and attending industry events;
• Maintain and develop press, blog and media contact database, as well as creating relevant contact lists for client campaigns;
• Conduct relevant research into strong story/PR/content ideas;
• Monitor the news cycle and social media for reactive opportunities for link placement;
• Contribute to compelling strategies that consistently achieve against KPIs, while following best practice guidelines for Digital PR;
• Carry out data research, writing surveys and analysing survey data to inform campaigns;
• Identify and approaching influencers and experts to inform campaigns as required;
• Work with other Greenpark teams to brief in and assess assets for campaigns as required;
• Working positively with account teams to communicate with clients, including creating and delivering presentations to key stakeholders with support;
• Improve own knowledge on other digital marketing channels and Greenpark offerings, including Content, SEO, Creative and Production;
• Ad hoc related tasks as required.
Reporting and Communication Structure
• This role reports to the Digital PR Lead;
• This role attends the Digital PR team meetings and further project and client meetings as requested.
