The Best Connection Bedford are currently seeking Metal Saw Operatives for our prestigious client in the MK42 Area.
The working hours are 8:00am - 16:30pm Monday to Thursday and then 8:00am - 12:00pm Friday
Pay rate for the role is £12.50 p/h
Responsibilities of the Saw Operative
1. Operate automatic cutting saws to specific measurements and requirements
2. Working with aluminium extrusions
3. Liaising with Production Manager
4. Some manual handling will be involved
5. Able to work in a fast paced environment with fast changing priorities
6. Maintain a clean, safe working environment
Requirements of the Saw operative:
7. Experience within saw Operation
8. Good basic numeracy
9. Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills
10. Reading all measurements
11. Ability to work under pressure when meeting deadlines
