A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our Quality Team and play a key role in ensuring all our products meet customer requirements and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect and test products throughout various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with both customer and industry standards.
* Conduct inspections and testing on incoming materials from suppliers, when required.
* Collaborate closely with the Production and Engineering teams to contribute to the continual improvement process
* Ensure Automated Test Equipment (ATE) programs, leads, and jigs are correctly in place for all new or updated products, including writing and updating ATE programs when necessary.
* Develop test procedures, plans, and checklists.
* Maintain inspection records and reports
* Support the Quality Team with customer returns and issue resolution.
Key Skills and Experience
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Quality Assurance/Inspection role, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Proficient in the use of industry-standard measuring and testing equipment, including Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems.
* Strong understanding of quality control standards, processes, and testing methodologies.
* Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
* Competent user of Microsoft Office applications
* IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification (Desirable)
