We are seeking a qualified and dedicated teacher to join our team as the Lead Practitioner of Science. What We're Looking For:
* A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.
* Outstanding teaching skills and proven success in behaviour management.
* Experience in lesson observations and providing constructive, actionable feedback.
* A proven track record in raising student achievement, with evidence of success in improving results.
* Experience in leading improvement planning and implementing effective strategies to enhance student outcomes.
* Expertise in pupil tracking and feedback practices.
* Ideally, experience teaching across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, with strong results at KS3 and 4.
* Experience working with governors and in multiple school settings is highly desirable.
Role Overview:
As Lead Practitioner, you will play a leading role in improving teaching and learning, ensuring the highest standards of achievement within the department. Your responsibilities will include:
* Collaborating with the Lead Practitioner Team to drive a shared vision of excellence and high standards for all students.
* Accountable for student performance and contributing to improvement planning.
* of Academy policies and ensuring their consistent implementation.
* Ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across the Faculty and the Academy., including overseeing that the subject knowledge of staff is exemplary and behaviours within the department are consistently high.
