Our client based in Melton is looking for someone to join their technical department to assist the production of workshop drawings. The role reports to the Technical Manager, and the selected candidate is expected to bring document controlling experience in infrastructure projects.
Duties include:
1. Document control for the technical department, clients, and workshop drawings.
2. Organising the common data environment and all the documents in that space.
3. Keeping good track of key dates for communications and transmittals.
4. Coordinating project information from the office to the workshop production team.
To be considered for the role, candidates will have some Document Control experience and hold excellent verbal and written communication skills. Some exposure to ProjectWise and BC Business Collaborator environments would be helpful but is not essential. Intermediate IT skills in Word and Excel are needed for the position, and candidates must be self-motivated and well-organised.
This role would suit a Document Controller, Senior Administrator, or Technical/Contracts Assistant.
