Data Quality Facilitator - 22.5 hours
We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and motivated individual to join the Data Quality Team as a Data Quality Facilitator for 22.5 hours. This post will assist the Data Quality and Patient Access Manager in the delivery of the trust's digital strategy.
The post will be responsible for ensuring that the systems and processes required to maintain good data quality in digital systems are in place and to support clinicians and managers within operational services in developing good practices in relation to data quality.
The post holder will also collaborate with the information management team to develop and maintain a range of data quality management tools to support the monitoring and analysis of data from patient information systems.
Main duties of the job
* Undertaking regular data quality checks and audits on data originating from clinical teams to ensure the data meets national data standards and requirements and is of the highest quality.
* Reviewing data quality information tools to monitor, identify, and report any issues requiring attention.
* Seeking resolution to data quality issues raised in the data quality reports by liaising with, and attending regular data quality meetings with, clinical and administrative staff across the Trust and by working in conjunction with colleagues in the information management team.
* Assisting in the development of processes to ensure that data is recorded accurately by clinical teams.
* Producing data reports and data quality KPIs to support the monitoring and evaluation of data quality.
* Assisting in the development of balanced scorecards and dashboards to measure data quality performance.
* Producing other internal and external data quality reports as required.
* Reviewing external data quality reports and providing information on benchmarking.
* Supporting the development and implementation of reporting tools to aid the management of data quality.
* Providing support and training to clinical and administrative staff on the use of the systems and tools.

Qualifications
Essential
* Knowledge of data quality and information management acquired through qualification to degree or equivalent level or relevant experience.
