DOCUMENT CONTROLLER DIVISION: Building South LOCATION: Belfast Due to a continued pipeline of works, we are looking to add an enthusiastic and experienced Document Controller to our team at Belfast Children's Hospital. The successful candidate will assist and support the wider team and seek to establish strong working relationships across the project and division. Candidates should have strong organisation skills and pay keen attention to detail, alongside excellent communication skills. This vital role is key in ensuring the smooth running of operations and forms an integral part of the site support. It is therefore essential that the successful candidate is a strong team player, who can confidently liaise with all levels of Staff. Expected duties: Management and control of all project-related documents, including drawings, specifications, and reports. Maintain and update document control systems to ensure accurate records and easy retrieval of information. Support the distribution of documents to relevant stakeholders and ensure timely receipt of feedback. Prepare and maintain document templates and standards (eg Reports) Ensure compliance with company and project-specific document control procedures (Contract requirements). Archive and file documents, both electronically and in hard copy. Liaise with all Team members (inc external parties) to ensure a seamless document management process Person Specification Essential: Experience of Document Management Systems (Not necessarily construction). Strong IT Skills Ability to work on own initiative Strong communication skills Work as part of a Team Desirable: Knowledge and/or experience of the Construction Industry Experience in a similar role (Not necessarily construction) Experience of NEC This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for the Document Controller and the range of duties to be undertaken.
