Health and Safety Coordinator Our Client, an FMCG sector company, are looking to recruit a Health and Safety Coordinator on a permanent basis. Key responsibilities - Health and Safety Coordinator : Assist the UK Health & Safety Manager in developing, implementation & maintaining Roxane UK health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the relevant legislation & guidance. Provide advice & support on all aspects of health & safety. Assist in in accident investigation as required to ensure the root cause is established and any necessary preventative actions are in place to prevent a recurrence of the incident. Monitor and drive implementation of corrective & preventative actions arising from health and safety activities including accident investigations, risk assessments & audits to ensure recommend control measures are in place. Assist the UK Health & Safety Manager in monitoring health and safety across the Roxane UK Group to support continuous improvement. To assist in the preparation of any necessary health and safety reports to ensure stakeholders have the relevant information in a timely manner. Delivering basic health & safety training when required, Inductions for example. Maintain & update records of audits, plans and reports. Attend Health & Safety Meetings as and when required. Skills & experience - Health and Safety Coordinator : Previous experience in a similar position. Relevant qualification (NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent) advantageous. Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and legislation. Computer literate (MS applications). Strong analytical and problem solving skills. High attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. Hours - Health and Safety Coordinator: Monday to Friday 0800 to 1700 (flexibility available in the hours for the right candidate). Benefits - Health and Safety Coordinator : Basic salary £33,481.24 p/a (£16.10 p/h) Discretionary annual bonus £1,000 13th month Christmas bonus every year after 2-years.
