Sous Chef – £34k – Field to Fork Restaurant – Honiton
Paramount Personnel are recruiting for one of our prestigious clients, a high-end restaurant in the Honiton area. Our client is seeking a talented sous chef, with a proven background of working with home-grown and locally sourced sustainable ingredients, and a passion for excellent cuisine.
Due to growth within the kitchen, our client is looking for a talented sous chef to assist the current head chef in daily operations. You will have a passion for sourcing the finest locally sourced ingredients while crafting exceptional food experiences within a sustainable and ethical approach.
Sous Chef Responsibilities:
* Leading and mentoring a team of talented chefs.
* Assisting with the production and foraging of ingredients from its farm.
* Ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
* Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
* Assisting the head chef in menu development and sourcing of ingredients.
Given the nature of the establishment and the role, it is important that the successful sous chef has their own source of transport, possesses excellent communication skills, and can demonstrate proven experience as a sous chef in a fast-paced environment. The ideal chef will have a background of working in a field to fork environment.
