Job Description
An award winning, property and construction consultancy is seeking an Employer’s Agent to join their large and expanding multi-disciplinary team in their Winchester office. You will be working alongside professionals from a mix of backgrounds, including building surveying, project and cost management, engineering and architecture, all committed to delivering for their wide range of clients.
Role & Responsibilities of the Employer’s Agent:
* Support with pre contract and post contract client, developer and contractor meetings, taking and issuing minutes promptly
* Undertake review of drawings and specification proposals from contractors and developers
* Assist with the compilation of specifications and tender documents, including Employer’s Requirements
* Coordination of specialist surveys and tasks required from other project related consultants
* On-site inspections and pre-handover ‘snagging’
* Tracking and monitoring post completion defects, liaising with clients’ customer care teams and ensuring satisfactory conclusion of defects
Skills & Experience of the Employer’s Agent:
1. Understanding of construction and development is desirable
2. A desire to learn and progress rapidly.
