Within this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving recruitment transformation across our large and dynamic organisation. You will combine strategic leadership, team development, and hands-on expertise to optimise and transform recruitment processes, attract top talent, foster a high-performance culture and deliver measurable results, while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

What you will be doing:
Implementing recruitment transformation initiatives across the organisation to drive efficiency and effectiveness through lean practices, automation and digitisation
Developing and leading recruitment strategies that align with business objectives and workforce planning needs
Exploring new and existing platforms for sourcing the best talent for our organisation
Leading, coaching and mentoring a growing recruitment team, providing support to build recruitment expertise and foster career growth
Ensuring full compliance with IR35 regulations within all recruitment activities, providing insights on regulatory impact and risk mitigation
Continuously reviewing current market trend and utilising AI and new technologies to stay abreast of industry developments and evolving recruitment and advertising techniques
Overseeing and managing our agency Preferred Supplier List and managing job board procurement and negotiations to secure cost-effective recruitment partnerships
Collaborating with senior stakeholders to deliver recruitment solutions that support organisational change and growth initiatives
Driving the organisation's EDI strategy, promoting inclusive recruitment practices that attract and retain diverse talent, providing fair and equal opportunities
Supporting the company’s social value commitments by aiding social mobility and ensuring our recruitment activities reflect and contribute to the communities in which we operate
Who we are looking for:
A transformation guru: Extensive change management experience, particularly in adapting recruitment processes to support organisational transformation.
A strong leader: the ability to coach and develop a high-performing team with proven experience operating at a senior management level, undertaking volume and specialist recruitment within a large and multi-faceted organisation.
A subject matter expert: In-depth knowledge of IR35 and Agency Worker Regulations, employment legislation and EDI principles. Strong awareness of market trends and emerging technologies, with a proven ability to apply AI and new tools to enhance recruitment outcomes.
A seasoned specialist in designing and implementing scalable recruitment models and strategies, adaptable to both high and low volume hiring needs across a diverse range of roles and levels.
A driver of change: Change management experience, particularly in adapting recruitment processes to support organisational transformation.
A strong relationship-builder: Excellent stakeholder management skills to influence and partner effectively with senior leaders, as well as the ability to manage supplier relationships.
