Job Description:
This job is responsible for providing comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help them achieve their financial goals. Key responsibilities include triaging client leads, making referrals to business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds, meeting with clients to review financial and investment goals, building a financial plan, and recommending brokerage products. Job expectations include applying and expanding knowledge by completing required licenses and trainings. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. Failure to obtain and maintain SAFE Act registration may result in disciplinary action including termination.
Responsibilities:
* Work with clients to plan their financial goals by building a financial plan with brokerage products including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking solutions.
* Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals.
* Triages client requests and make referrals to internal service providers based on needs and asset thresholds.
* Mitigate and control risk in daily activities.
* Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or existing clientele.
* Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners based on client needs and product recommendations.
Required Qualifications:
* Currently holds Series 7 & 66 (or 63 & 65 in lieu of 66) licenses. If missing the 66, an offer can be extended with the condition of passing within 60 days.
* At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and knowledge of investment products.
* At least one year of experience in financial services or sales environment with goal achievement.
* Ability to set and achieve goals, build relationships, collaborate, communicate effectively, manage time, and adapt to new information.
Desired Qualifications:
* Strong computer skills and multitasking ability.
* Three or more years in financial services or sales with goal achievement.
* Additional professional designations such as CFP or CRPC.
* Insurance licenses.
