Calling all experienced machine operators! One of the most well-established manufacturers in Mildenhall, Suffolk, is looking for machine operators to join their growing team.
We're ideally seeking candidates with a background in machining or manufacturing assembly work, as multiple roles are available, including both day and night shifts.
The starting salary for this role is highly competitive, complemented by some of the best shift allowance rates in the local area, especially for night shift workers. Overtime opportunities are frequently available at increased pay rates.
Machine Operator Duties Include:
* Operation of machinery in the assembly / lathe areas of the workshop
* Full start-up and shutdown of machines as required
* Small maintenance repairs when necessary
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Experience operating manual lathes, press machines, or mechanical machinery from industries such as food production would be highly advantageous.
The shifts for this role are from 06:00 to 18:00, three or four days a week, including one weekend day. Night shifts are also available for qualified candidates.
