The main duties of the Domestic Assistant are general domestic duties within a residential or similar establishment.
* To clean designated areas to ensure that they are kept in a safe and hygienic condition in line with infection control measures;
* To carry out kitchen duties, including, pot/pan washing, emptying/cleaning equipment putting away stores etc, To clean accommodation or recreational areas, including, hoovering, dusting, cleaning toilets etc;
* To carry out dining room duties, including basic food preparation, serving meals, laying and clearing tables, washing up etc;
* To operate powered equipment including domestic-type laundry, cash register etc.
From time to time, the Council may require the post holder to undertake duties outside those specified.

* Rate of pay shown in the advert is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance of £1.4808 per hour
