Job Overview
* Ensure service delivery provides and maintains statutory, mandatory, and routine compliance at all times.
* Develop and maintain a process of continual improvement through efficiency and best-in-class delivery.
* Positively contribute towards account performance in terms of revenue, profit, and cash.
* Manage, monitor, and develop your team.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
* Ensure contractual compliance with PFI contract terms and conditions.
Main Duties
* Undertake work associated with PPM (Pre Planned Maintenance) and Reactive Maintenance tasks to a high standard.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation as appointed by the Authorising Engineer.
* Ensure assets are maintained in accordance with contracts and relevant Health Technical Memoranda.
* Follow engineering and building drawings to provide satisfactory levels of output.
* Document requests for contract variations and coordinate changes with the Commercial Manager.
* Promote safe working and ensure QHSE compliance.
* Address escalations, including client complaints or safety issues.
* Conduct regular tool-box talks with the team.
* Review stock and equipment condition and report failures.
* Manage work on equipment requiring higher skill levels.
* Monitor the CAFM system to ensure timely task assignment.
* Liaise with specialist and non-technical personnel.
* Undertake any other duties appropriate to the position.
* Work flexibly to meet departmental needs.
* Complete job-specific training and assist in training others.
What we are looking for
* Highly motivated with a drive for social responsibility in a healthcare environment.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
* Experience in acute health care premises is advantageous.
* Ability to communicate and coordinate tasks effectively.
* High level of flexibility and cooperation required.
* Strong customer care skills and a pleasant manner.
* NVQ level 2 in refrigeration/air conditioning.
* HTM qualifications/understanding preferred.
* Completion of a structured training program in refrigeration and air conditioning.
* Self-motivated with high focus and energy.
* Maintains high standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Willingness to undertake further training as required.
* Comfortable working with complicated contracts.
* Experience providing the necessary competencies.
