About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of MFL to join our growing team at Edgar Wood Academy. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual with strong subject knowledge and a commitment to helping students realise their academic potential. The successful candidate will teach MFL to students aged 11-16, contributing to their learning through creative and engaging teaching strategies.
From September, our school will welcome Year 11 students, offering a full secondary education experience from Years 7 to 11. This role is ideal for both experienced teachers and early career teachers who are eager to develop their practice in a supportive and innovative environment. Key Responsibilities:
* Teach MFL to KS3 and KS4 students, employing a variety of engaging and effective teaching strategies.
* Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of all students, including those with special educational needs.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes equality and celebrates diversity.
* Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons, schemes of work, and assessment strategies that support student progress.
* Foster a culture of high expectations and a ‘can-do’ attitude, inspiring students to achieve their best.
