Health, Safety & Facilities Manager | Kettering | Mon – Fri | £37,000 - £39,500
Would you like to work for a unique global brand that specializes in designing and manufacturing high-quality products stocked in over 5000 retailers globally?
This long-standing client of The ONE Group is on the hunt for their next Health, Safety & Facilities Manager to oversee the main site and two distribution centres within 30 minutes of the main site.
This unique role is a split role between facilities management and HSE. Due to the nature of the business, you will be expected to improve the office and warehouse environments while leading and driving a Health and Safety culture.
Our client is committed to improvements, boasting a £1 million spend on their main office since 2016, with multiple projects in the pipeline for the next 12 months, providing plenty of opportunities for engagement.
What's involved?
1. Ensure site compliance with the latest H&S / Fire legislation / First Aid via regular reviews and audits, liaising with consultants and regulatory bodies.
2. First Aid & Fire Safety – Risk Assessment / training, investigating accidents, and developing strategies for the future.
3. Project manage contractors, including tendering, quotes, risk assessments, timelines, internal communication, and follow-ups.
4. Direct, coordinate, and plan essential services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, stationery, cleaning, support catering, waste disposal, and recycling.
5. Write and enforce Safety SOPs and policies.
6. Qualifications: IOSH / NEBOSH / FM Qualification / First Aid / BSc Safety Management / Hazardous materials management.
7. Knowledge of CAD or other office layout planning tools such as Visio would be an advantage.
