An exciting opportunity to join our team of rotational band 5's at Salford Care Organisation, part of the wider Northern Care Alliance, has become available. You would join our current staff who rotate every 6 months around areas such as Respiratory, MSK, Community rehab and falls, Home first, CSNRT, Orthopaedics, Major Trauma, ACM, Neurosurgery, Stroke, Urgent care.
We strive to grow our staff with robust IST programmes, an AHP based preceptorship programme for newly qualified staff, and a well-embedded appraisal system.
Key Responsibilities:
* Participate in the rotational scheme at Salford Care Organisation, completing rotations across acute and community settings.
* Work as an autonomous practitioner within your scope of practice and in accordance with your job plan.
* Be responsible for your continuing professional development, actively participating in supervision, peer support, and training and development programmes.
* Manage a caseload including prioritisation and delegation of work to therapy assistants, performing patient assessments and making a clinical judgement of the patient’s needs.
* Develop, implement, evaluate, and modify patient treatment programmes ensuring relevant pathways of care are followed in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team, with onward referral to other agencies as appropriate.
* Be able to travel across the footprint of Salford whilst on community rotations.
* Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records complying with Trust policies and procedures, upholding statutory, Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, and HCPC standards and codes of professional conduct.
