Job responsibilities
7. Patient Interaction: Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Handle inquiries and provide information regarding practice services.
8. Appointment Management: Schedule and manage patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of the practice's time and resources.
9. Phone and Email Communication: Answer telephone calls and emails promptly, addressing patient queries, booking appointments, and passing messages to clinical staff as needed.
10. Patient Registration and Records: Process new patient registrations, maintain accurate patient records, and update electronic health records with attention to confidentiality and detail.
11. Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and handling incoming and outgoing mail.
12. Liaison with Medical Staff: Communicate effectively with doctors, nurses, and other staff members to coordinate care and ensure seamless patient flow.
13. Patient Assistance: Assist patients with form completion, prescription queries, and other support needs.
14. Confidentiality and Compliance: Adhere to data protection laws, patient confidentiality guidelines, and practice policies.
