Contract: Permanent Closing date: Friday 14th March Recruitment Partner: Shannon Linton Working within Clinical Trials, you will focus on Commercial Development, working with teams across the business and externally to ensure the proposition is fit for purpose and commercially viable. This is a permanent role based in Nottingham. Travel may be required at times to meet the needs of the business. About the role The UK clinical trials market is estimated to be worth £2.7bn per year pre-pandemic (NIHR). Key Responsibilities: • Conduct market analysis to identify potential clients and business opportunities. • Lead and manage the development of value propositions, ensuring these are strategically relevant, insights driven and commercially viable. • Establish and manage pipeline of potential clients, tracking progress and ensuring timely follow up. • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers with external companies, e.g. Pharmaceutical companies. • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns aimed at promoting Clinical Trial services at Boots. • Represent the company at Industry conferences, trade shows and networking events to promote services and identify new business opportunities. • Lead the bid defense preparations in partnership with members of the internal cross functional team. • Accountable for the delivery of the agreed contract and all commercial deliverables. • Manage a small team of direct reports and a cross functional working team to deliver against the contract.
