Conduct preoperative and postoperative assessments, educating patients and caregivers about procedures and expected outcomes. Prepare surgical rooms and ensure proper sterilization of equipment and supplies. Administer medications, fluids, blood products, and monitor patients using specialized medical equipment. Collaborate with surgical teams, intensive care units, and other departments to ensure coordinated patient care. Participate in quality assurance initiatives, ensuring compliance with national standards for safety and care. Document patient care activities accurately in both written and electronic formats. Support training programs to maintain high standards of sterilization and care procedures. Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution. Active RN license valid in the United States or its territories. Minimum of 12 months of PACU or inpatient care experience in the past three years. Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Proficiency in medical terminology, pharmacology, and operation of specialized medical equipment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient care and collaboration. Minimum Knowledge and Skills: Expertise in nursing processes, including patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
