About the role
In this exciting role as Web Content Publisher, you'll join our Creative Studio team and be responsible for online content management, publishing assets, building web pages, and ensuring quality assurance (QA) of new features before and after launch. You'll also collaborate with various teams to deliver high-quality content that supports online trading.
You will be responsible for:
1. Using a bespoke content management system to provide timely and quality solutions for assigned tasks.
2. Modifying text and image assets based on business needs and user experience enhancements.
3. Conducting testing and validation of content to ensure quality and functionality.
4. Collaborating effectively with teams and manage stakeholder communication regarding project timelines, issues, and dependencies.
5. Working closely with online trade, content, technology, and design teams to deliver accurate and engaging content.
6. Continuously review and improve the online customer experience and campaign propositions.
7. Supporting the ongoing development and maintenance of multiple Tesco websites post-launch.
You will need:
1. Experience with content management systems, large-scale migrations, web coding, and cross-browser/platform/device design techniques. Knowledge of CMS/web dev frameworks like Magnolia/Strapi is a plus.
2. Understanding of responsive design, app, and touch screen principles.
3. Familiarity with AA W3C and WAI standards and accessibility guidelines.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards in work.
5. Excellent problem-solving, defect resolution, and organisational skills.
6. Knowledge of Workfront and Agile methodologies is a plus.
This role combines technical skills with creativity and offers the chance to contribute significantly to the user experience on Tesco's websites.
