Position: 1:1 Support Assistant
Location: Oldham
Start date: Monday 6th January 2025
End date: Ongoing (Temporary to Permanent Role)
Pay: £12.90-£14.15 per hour
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Primary School based in Oldham who are looking for a full-time 1:1 Support Assistant to work closely with a child diagnosed with Autism. The school offers a specialist setting within the school to provide a tailored curriculum for children with an EHCP. The 1:1 support would be needed within this specialist setting therefore would be within a small cohort of children. This role would involve providing 1:1 support for a child in Key Stage 1. You would be using visual cards such as “Now and Next” and Visual Timelines.
This mainstream school offers support for children with varying special educational needs and is open to appointing an individual with transferable professional and/or personal experience. The successful educator will take a passionate and proactive approach to the role.

This role requires someone who is available on a full-time basis (Monday-Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm) with experience of working with children/adults with additional needs.
