Meigle and Ardler Community Development Trust (MACDT) are looking to appoint a Community Connector
Job Summary:
The Community Connector is responsible for building and nurturing relationships between MACDT and the local community, in order to further the objectives of MACDT. The role focuses on progressing and delivering MACDT projects in a collaborative way, fostering local engagement, participation and support while doing so. The ideal candidate will have strong project management and interpersonal skills, a passion for community building, and a deep understanding of local needs and dynamics.

Qualifications
• Experience of working in community outreach or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse populations.
• Ability to interpret and present data effectively.
• Proficient in standard digital and IT skills: Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
• Experience in event planning, project management, or volunteer coordination is a plus.
• Knowledge of local community resources and organizations is a plus.

Working Conditions
• Hours are flexible but will require some evening and weekend working for events and meetings.
• The appointee will be expected to work from home (or another location of their choosing) but will need to have access to a vehicle and be able to work across the Meigle and Ardler area to meet demands.
• Prior to appointment, two references will be requested.
