As the Senior Recovery Nurse/Practitioner your responsibilities will include:
* Deputising in the absence of the Lead Practitioner.
* Assisting in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
* Ensuring high clinical standards and working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Managing operating lists, staff skills, and equipment.
* Maintaining equipment and contributing to budget management.
* Training and orientating new staff, including bank, agency, and students.
* Participating in incident investigations and quality audits.

The ideal Senior Recovery Nurse will have:
* Registered NMC/HCPC status.
* A degree and considerable further professional development.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in an operating theatre setting.
* Evidence of clinical reasoning skills across varied patient case mixes.
* An ILS/ALS qualification or working towards.
