The successful candidate will learn all aspects of carpentry within a residential environment, whilst working towards achieving their level 2 Standard The candidate will be involved in all areas from start to finish. You will be shown the use of specialist tools and equipment used for this role, and will be supervised at all times by a fully qualified member of staff You will follow all health and safety procedures in the work place at all times, and ensure that all tools are clean and put away correctly at the end of each day. Annual wage £13,312 a year Working week Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm Total hours per week: 40 hours a week On completion of your Level 2 apprenticeship with the company, an opportunity to apply for a full time post may be offered to the right learner, and progress onto Level 3 Desired Skills And Personal Qualities. Part of your training will be knowledge and theory based, whilst the rest will be practical As an additional qualification you will also achieve your Emergency First Aid and Health and Safety Certificate, along with Internet Safety and Safeguarding The college training will take place at Horizon Building Western Wood Way, Plymouth PL7 5BG and it will be one day a week
