In the UK, Safran Seats specializes solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide-body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales, and Brackley, England.
The purpose of this role is to be responsible for supporting the Project Chief Engineers Office and Engineering Head of Functions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Your key responsibility is to assist Project Chief Engineers and Engineering Project Leaders with the operational management of their organization to help them meet their objectives.
2. Your role is to help managers achieve their commitments regarding delivery (deliverables, milestones), non-recurring and recurring costs (NRC and RC), and quality.
3. You must be proficient in the use and configuration of management tools, and in overseeing their use by people involved in the process.
4. You are expected to address and report any irregularities with regard to the programme and project management reference system(s).
5. You are also expected to make recommendations to ensure continuous process improvement and the deployment of best practices.
Job Requirements
1. Project management experience/qualification (awareness of planning/scheduling, technical & financial aspects, risks).
2. Managing risks and opportunities for project and PMO.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially EXCEL.
4. Experience of data management, analysis, and the preparation of reports & presentations.
