Avondale Foods is a leading food processing company of Fresh and Chilled products supplying leading retail businesses such as Marks & Spencer, Asda, Morrisons, and Waitrose in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To ensure correct and efficient set up of production lines including prestart check paperwork are completed in full.
2. To organise ingredients and packaging required to fulfil production orders and volume.
3. To execute the manager/supervisor’s production plan adhering to allergen running orders set out by the manager/supervisor.
4. To check that products meet company requirements and customer specifications.
5. To complete quality and production documentation as required.
6. To train new employees and agency workers on department specifics.

Minimum Requirements:
At least 12 months of practical hands-on experience in a food manufacturing environment.
Desirable Criteria:
1. Good working knowledge of Word and Excel are essential.
2. Confident and clear verbal communication skills.
3. Flexible approach to working hours covering the needs of the business.
4. Initiative to drive and meet targets.
5. Food Safety Level 2 or above.
6. Health & Safety / First Aid related qualifications.
7. Experience of managing delivery to high-end multiple retailers.
