The purpose of the Casual Front of House Manager role is to lead our event crew on-shift using your excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with a wide range of clients, patrons, and team members effectively. Your can-do attitude and focus on manaaki will ensure our patrons and clients’ event experience is always front of mind. The events portfolio is diverse, and no two days will be the same. There are opportunities to learn new skills, meet new people, and to work across all facets of events whilst being well paid, well trained, and well supported!

To be successful in this role you will have:
1. Proven customer service skills and the ability to “go the extra mile”.
2. Experience leading a diverse team.
3. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
4. An understanding and/or willingness to learn and embrace tikanga Māori.
5. Ability to work well under pressure.
6. A motivated and proven team player.
7. Cash-handling skills a bonus but training will be provided.
8. Sound PC skills with the ability to use Microsoft packages at beginner level.
