Salary - £48,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the role
Maintenance and improvement of properties forms a key part of our contract with residents. The service must provide the right level of heating and electrical maintenance to protect a building's long-term value and ensure repairs are undertaken in a timely and efficient manner to safeguard the level of resident satisfaction built up in the business.
Leading on statutory, operational delivery, contractual and approved codes of practice across all matters of heating and electrical functions of the business including testing & servicing programmes, installations, upgrades, and reactive & responsive repairs across the group.
Responsible for delivery of oil, electrical, renewable sources and gas heating works as well as electrical testing and servicing in properties.

About you
You must have one of the following qualifications/training:
* Gas or oil qualified and stayed within the industry in a gas or oil responsible role.
* NVQ level 3 in plumbing and heating or similar.
* Gas safe registered.
* 18th Edition with electrical qualifications - City & Guilds.
* Recognised or working towards a higher level Health and Safety Qualification i.e., NEBOSH/CSCS.
* Asbestos awareness.
Experience of procurement best practice and of procuring contracts and managing external contractors and suppliers is essential.
It is essential you have experience of delivering major works programmes, tendering, and using a schedule of rates.
You must have good organisational, time management & prioritisation skills with the ability to meet deadlines & to determine an appropriate course of action despite changing demands.
You need to have the willingness to make decisions, render judgements & take action; be decisive.
Planning, project, time and workload management and personal organisation skills are essential.
You must have experience of working in an asset management or maintenance field.
