A leading global manufacturer are hiring for a Senior IT Support to join their North Devon site to provide end-user and manufacturing support as well as day-to-day IT ownership for the site.
Salary- £44,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location - North Devon, this is an on-site role and does not offer remote working due to the nature of the role.
Hours - Mon - Fri, 9-5 (hours can be negotiated to suit)

The Senior IT Support role:
You are the sole Senior IT Support for the site and therefore take ownership of the day-to-day IT Operation for the site of 250 employees and production support.
This role involves providing support to manufacturing operations as well as supporting device lifecycle management and ensure compliance with minimal supervision.
Key duties include:
7. Deployment, configuration, and support of hardware (PC, laptop, mobile, printing, etc.), client operating systems, and productivity software for end users.
8. Hardware support, including PCs (networked and non-networked), OT Systems (Ind 4.0), Cobots, hand scanners, printers, switches, wireless access points and virtual machines.
9. Follow ITSM processes
10. Participate in troubleshooting and resolution of larger IT issues
11. Participate in internal audits related to IT processes, procedures, software, and systems. Influence budgeting, forecasting, and spending for IT infrastructure as required.
12. Liaison between IT and customers to drive IT standards.
13. Draw conclusion from complex data sets and present solutions and drive the improvement from data analysis.
The Senior IT Support Applicant:
14. A relevant degree or qualified by experience of 3-5 years in the field
15. Working knowledge and troubleshooting skills of wired and wireless networks as well as servers.
16. Experience supporting complex IT environments that may contain various operating systems, desktop, network, phone, and mobile technology.
17. IT Service Management (ITIL)
18. An understanding of production environments including cobots, 3D printing and machine monitoring, automating the flow of production and implementing new technologies.
