Our client seeks an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their team at a RCVS accredited small animal veterinary practice in South Lincolnshire. The role includes a mix of consultations and emergency procedures, providing a varied and engaging work environment.
The practice is situated in a charming market town, approximately a 30-minute drive from Peterborough city. The town offers a host of independent shops, delightful dining options, and a vibrant social scene, making it an excellent place to live and work.
This spacious branch practice is equipped with a range of facilities, including biochemistry, haematology, UA and microscope, a sterile theatre, x-ray, and ultrasound. It features spacious consultation rooms, with inpatients transferred to the main hospital for overnight care. The main hospital boasts comprehensive equipment such as CT, dental x-ray, DR x-ray, endoscopes, a Class 4 laser, four theatres, and seven consulting rooms.
Clinical freedom is highly encouraged, and you will be supported by a skilled and experienced team of vets and nurses, including a dedicated inpatient vet and an additional weekend vet to enhance patient care. The close-knit and friendly team at the practice consists of 1-2 vets per day, two nurses, and two receptionists, with additional support from the main hospital's vets, nurses, and management. You must be comfortable with sole charge for this role.

The Rota:
• Full time role - Part time and flexible rota available
• Consults are between 8:30am-12:30pm followed by surgical procedures if needed
• Hours are on a rota basis between 9am-6pm
• Weekend rota and OOH at the main hospital
