Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our CML/MPN team at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre as a Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist in Haemato- oncology as a full time fixed term CNS, to cover maternity leave. The post holder will provide specialist advice and support to patients and their carers throughout their care pathway, as well as providing education and support to staff throughout the trust. The post holder will support the consultant team as well as delivering nurse led services for patients with haemato-oncology. This role is currently based at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in Liverpool. You should possess advanced clinical skills, be an excellent communicator, leader and educator, and be highly motivated to lead and deliver a service. A background in cancer nursing is ideal, recent experience in working within the specialty of haemato-oncology would be essential.
