Senior Support Worker Eating Disorders - Salisbury
We are looking for someone to join our busy Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service Community Team with a focus on joining the Eating Disorders team. Salisbury CAMHS is an award-winning team, being recognized as an exceptional team within the Oxford Health Trust. As a team, we are dedicated to supporting children with their mental health needs and have a variety of professional services available.
For this role, we are particularly seeking someone with the skills, interest, and relevant experience to work across GH, GMH, and Eating Disorders to assist in the assessment and delivery of a wide range of evidence-based outcomes. They will work as part of our dedicated Eating Disorders team and will receive ongoing training and supervision from our experienced clinicians.
Main Duties of the Job
1. Support both GH, GMH, and Eating Disorders functions within the CAMHS team by working alongside qualified colleagues to provide a comprehensive assessment of mental health needs.
2. Undertake discrete and sensitive assessments of systemic and other social factors, working alongside qualified colleagues.
3. Under the supervision of a qualified clinical practitioner, deliver evidence-based psychosocial, psychological, and systemic interventions in accordance with NICE guidelines and patient choice.
4. Use outcome rating measures to review and evaluate progress and refer onto and signpost as appropriate.

Job Responsibilities
1. Provide support to the multidisciplinary community CAMHS team in GH, GMH, and Eating Disorders to include assessment and intervention under the supervision of a qualified clinical practitioner.
2. Work independently according to a plan agreed with a qualified practitioner and within the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures.
3. Attend to all clinically related administration.
Person Specification
Qualification
* Experience or qualification relevant to mental health
* Experience working with young people with eating disorders
Knowledge and Experience
* Working with young people with a wide range of mental health and other complexities
* Working within a multi-disciplinary team
Skills
* Able to deliver a wide range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities
* Able to understand the presence and impact of eating disorders on young people's wider life.
* Formulation planning and delivery
* Good computer and keyboard skills
