We are extremely proud to run a dedicated adult services programme where we specialise in supporting and empowering people living with autism.
We are looking for a motivated natural leader to join the team as a Deputy Manager within our Adult Services programme in South West of Dorset, including areas such as Dorchester, Weymouth and Crewkerne.

The role
The services in the west comprise of a residential home in Crewkerne right the way through to supporting people within their own homes in Weymouth and Dorchester.
You could be out on a country walks one minute, to piecing together puzzles with a hot chocolate or even being out in the garden helping pot plants.
We are dedicated to providing specialised support to help the people we support reach their full potential.
A day in the life of a Deputy would include:
1. Supporting the Registered Manager with daily operations, including covering in their absence and ensuring standards of care are maintained.
2. Ensure compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.
3. Providing support, guidance and mentoring to staff within the service whether that be with supervisions, 1-2-1 or weekly team briefings.
4. Onboarding new starters to ensure they understand the role and are equipped to deliver high quality support.
5. Ensuring we have efficient rotas in place to suit the needs of the people we support.
6. Maintaining care and support plans are consistent and up to date.
7. Ensuring the service operates to budget.
8. Setting objectives which are clear, aspirational and achievable for our colleagues and people we support.
9. Provide on call support to colleagues on a rota basis.
10. Ensuring the home is maintained and liaising with our health and safety and maintenance teams where appropriate.
Hours of work
Normal hours are 08.00 - 17.00. This may include weekends.
