Responsibilities
* Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable Node.js applications and APIs.
* Architect and implement microservices and serverless solutions for high-performance applications.
* Guide and manage a team of developers, conducting code reviews and fostering best practices.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, DevOps, product managers) to deliver seamless solutions.
* Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest Node.js, JavaScript, and backend technologies to drive innovation.
* Manage technical documentation and ensure high-quality coding standards.

Qualifications
* University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in backend development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
* Strong expertise in Node.js, Express.js, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
* Experience with RESTful APIs.
* Expertise in designing and developing scalable microservices with API gateways and service orchestration.
* Proficiency in database management (SQL & NoSQL – e.g., DynamoDB, PostgreSQL).
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead a technical team effectively.
* Open to business travel to London on average once a month.
* Good communication skills in English and Polish.
Nice to have:
* Experience with GraphQL, and WebSockets.
* Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Redis Pub/Sub for real-time data processing.
