NHS Locum Consultant Anaesthetics
We are looking to recruit a Locum Consultant Anaesthetist to our department at Northampton General Hospital. The successful applicant will join an existing team of 42 consultants, 7 speciality doctors, and 34 junior doctors. Our department is fully committed to training, personal development, and actively participates in hospital activity with many of us in trust lead roles.
It is expected that the successful applicant will work in all theatre areas to an agreed job plan. This includes anaesthetic services for colorectal, vascular, urology, ENT, maxillofacial, plastics, obstetrics and gynaecology, eyes, and orthopaedics. The successful applicant will join a core group of anaesthetists with special interest in obstetric anaesthesia and provide daytime cover on the labour ward one day a week on average. There is no Intensive Care work required.
