About the Role:
TGRC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Manager to oversee a cutting-edge Solar PV construction project in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team on a significant renewable energy initiative, contributing to a sustainable future.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management: Lead and manage the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the on-site team, including subcontractors and suppliers, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
3. Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all site personnel.
4. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and senior management.
5. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process, implementing innovative solutions to ensure project success.
6. Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure all work meets the specified standards and contractual requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
7. Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Manager, with a focus on civil engineering and Solar PV construction projects.
8. Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and Solar PV construction methodologies.
9. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of professionals.
10. Health & Safety Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
11. Excellent Communication: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders.
