An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Staff Nurse/Midwife based at University Hospital Crosshouse.
What you will do:
We are looking for an experienced, resilient and dynamic registered children’s nurse/Midwife who has undertaken the qualified in speciality course, to join our team.
In this role you will be responsible for delivering intensive level care and assist with the smooth running of the unit during your shifts, whilst guiding colleagues with your clinical skills and expertise.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
1. First level registered nurse RSCN/RN Child Branch or first level registered nurse adult branch.
2. Foundation level module in Neonatal Care or equivalent recognised neonatal nursing qualification.
3. Clinical knowledge through state registration and practical experience 2 + years in a neonatal unit.
4. Active in seeking out new learning experiences in relation to neonatal knowledge, skills and competencies.
5. Evidence of continuous professional development.
Hours:
2 positions - 37 hours fixed term until August 2026
1 position - 37 hours permanent
UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership:
Driving licence is essential to this role.
