5 years or more: £23,516 - £26,954 37 hours
Term time only + 5 days + 3 INSET days
The Governors are seeking to appoint a Family Support Worker who has recent experience of working with children, young people and families to support the needs of the community which we serve. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of our pastoral team, dedicated to giving the children the best life chances possible, building the futures they deserve. We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and knowledgeable person who:
Works with a genuine child-centred approach;
Is passionate and knowledgeable about children's learning and development
Has a proven record of working successfully with a range of stakeholders in school to support children, young people and their families through interventions to improve attendance and raise achievement
Has experience of working in a personalised way to best meet the needs of children, young people and families to overcome barriers to learning
Is able to work effectively in managing their time and have excellent communication skills
Has a good sense of humour and positive attitude
Is a team player who relentlessly seeks to overcome challenges
