Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), you will have the opportunity to teach students up to GCSE level, with the potential to teach A-Level History depending on your experience. Key Responsibilities: Teach History at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential to teach A-Level History for the right candidate. Develop and adapt curriculum materials in line with the school’s objectives and national standards. Regularly assess student progress and provide tailored feedback to support academic development and achievement. Use assessment data to inform your teaching, address learning gaps, and offer individual support to students. Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the department and the school through reflective practice. Engage in the broader school community, supporting extracurricular activities and school events. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching History in secondary schools. A strong understanding of the national curriculum for History.
