The Role We're looking to appoint a Marketing Director for our Pharma & Nutrition business streams in the UK & Ireland. The position reports to the UKI Managing Director and is a key member of the Exec Leadership Team. Leading a team of 7 direct and 17 indirect reports the role has accountability for the development and strategic marketing of our Pharma & Nutrition brands across the UK & Ireland, leading the Scientific Affairs team and ensuring our digital marketing promotes and positions our Corporate brand. Key Accountabilities Overall responsibility of the marketing team for the country specific marketing strategy, plans, projects and campaigns for products and services in line with group product strategy. Develop, implement and co-ordinate country specific go-to market strategies for product groups. Formulate and implement strategic and tactical marketing plans; overseeing all necessary activities to fulfil strategic objectives. Overall responsibility for the scientific affairs strategy and team. Responsible for the Fresenius Kabi’s brand and the continuous promotion and improvement of our brands and corporate reputation to include: Increase public and internal awareness of the organisation by setting and managing the social media/digital communication strategy to build awareness, engagement and our profile in both the local and professional community. Develop an actionable plan for company charity fundraising that engages employees and raises internal as well as public awareness of the company, and promotes its good reputation. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all marketing activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards, maintaining a high standard of ethical conduct and integrity in all marketing practices. In collaboration with Supply Chain, maintain and develop product demand forecasts. Analyse sales, stock and other statistics to model future products and service demands. Maintain collaborative approach to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts. Responsible for list pricing strategy in-line with regional pricing strategy. Responsible for the marketing input to the annual Forecast, Medium Term Strategy and Budgeting Process. Ensure alignment with Sales Director and sales activities with marketing activities to support sales. Monitor and report on competitor activity in our core and related markets and ensure the company is best positioned to maximise competitive advantage. Maintain excellent, relevant, market knowledge, data and customer insight especially by direct customer contact a supplemented by an appropriate range of qualitative and quantitative sources. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s / Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing or a Business Management related subject. Minimum 5 years' proven experience in a senior marketing role. Minimum 5 years' experience in a management role with budget responsibility. Prior success in a senior marketing role within Pharma or Nutrition. The following qualifications are desirable but not essential: Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) – Diploma in Professional Marketing Level 6 Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) – Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Marketing Level 7 Skills and Attributes Strong leaderships skills. Entrepreneurial mindset, with an innovative approach to business planning. A track record of supporting and driving profitable growth within a Pharma, Nutrition or healthcare organisation. Dynamic and charismatic team player. Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills. Budget management experience.
