This is a new and exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Manager to join a growing scientific Instrument Business based in the East Sussex area.
The role of Technical Sales Manager reports directly to the Head of Global sales but will be working closely with a small team to deliver the sales and marketing targets across the business.
Ideal applicants would come from an Engineering and/or Scientific background. As the Technical Sales Manager, youll be responsible for generating Sales from existing and new key accounts. This role is ideal for an engineer who has moved into technical sales or is looking to. The role sits as a conduit between the customers and the engineers back at head office.
The role will involve UK and International travel, but the majority of the time is based in the office.
Technical Sales Manager Requirements:
Degree qualified in a Scientific/Engineering discipline to a high level
Develop new and existing relationships with key customer accounts
Account Management
Experience selling scientific or similar capital equipment
Develop key customer relations
Ability to understand, use and demonstrate EM sample preparation equipment.
An understanding of electron microscopy and related analytical techniques is essential
Experience in using SAP B1 and generating reports from it (Desirable)
An understanding of vacuum technology (Desirable)
