We are currently seeking experienced Automation Engineers to manage digital manufacturing and automation projects.
About the Role
This is a full-time staff position based in our office, with an excellent salary and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with a team of digital manufacturing/automation engineers to deliver projects to customer sites.
* Develop engineering design documents, technical evaluations, and test plans for automated and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
* Provide design and approval for hardware, software, and controls for automated systems.
* Collaborate with customers to identify areas for improvement through automation and data analytics technology.
* Offer technical and automation operational support to various departments.
* Coordinate project commissioning activities and provide training to junior engineers.
* Stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends in Industrial Automation and contribute to business strategy discussions.
Requirements
* At least 3 years of experience as a digital manufacturing/automation engineer.
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Instrumentation, or related field.
* Strong PLC programming skills, including Allen-Bradley PLCs and Siemens TIA Portal.
* Familiarity with HMI / SCADA systems, such as Siemens, Rockwell, AVEVA, and Schneider.
* Knowledge of control networks and communications systems, including Profibus, Modbus, and DeviceNet.
* Desirable: experience working with validated Digital Manufacturing/Automation systems in regulated industries.
