In this role, you will be instrumental in driving business development and delivering ICA engineering solutions on transformational programmes that support critical UK infrastructure. This opportunity is based in the Epsom office, with flexible and remote working options available. Experience - Chartered or Fellow Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer. - Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design. - Comprehensive knowledge in ICA design (instrumentation, PLC and SCADA systems), motor control systems, system architecture, fieldbus/communication networks, P&ID’s, ATEX installation practice, functional safety, development of control specifications (URS/FDS), schedules and system requirements within process/industrial environment. - Expert knowledge on current UK design standards, working practices and national guidance. - Proven as a strong technical leader in the multidisciplinary delivery. - A winning work mentality to drive and expand their client portfolio. Job Responsibilities Own and direct teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels. Defining briefs, scopes of work, and to contribute and lead bid proposals. Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes. Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions. Setting quality assurance standards in design. Grow, develop and manage ICA engineering capability within the practice.
