Job Scope To ensure the smooth and efficient running of the hotel to the satisfaction of all guests needs and that the night audit is completed to fulfil all audit and statistical information requirements for the hotel and to ensure the security of hotel guests and hotel as a whole and to provide services for hotel guests. Key Job Responsibilities Carry out security checks at regular intervals with special emphasis on security, fire and safety Check hotel guests in and out, and assist with luggage when required Serve food and liquor to company standards To ensure the total cash takings balance with the Opera settlements report and the receipt sheet and to complete the banking according to the correct procedure To operate the hotel switchboard and deal with all internal and external calls, according to procedure Order and deliver guest’s newspapers and correct charging and controls Actioning of early morning calls at the time specified and to the standards laid down The preparation of Room Service orders and service to the rooms when required Cleaning of areas as requested, removal of all trays from public areas, bedroom corridors as necessary Setting up meeting rooms as requested To attend all relevant training as and when required To show willingness to take on additional responsibilities when necessary To have a thorough knowledge of and adherence to the law with regards to the following company regulations: - Fire regulatins and night time evacuation procedures Health and Safety regulatins First aid prcedures To establish a friendly and helpful attitude to all guests and staff To ensure full co-operation between the Night Team, and all other departments Some Duty Management responsibilities while on shift WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING Customer Service experience, preferably in a branded environment, but not essential EXCELLENT COMPANY BENEFITS Competitive Salary Exclusive employee discounted rates to Accor and Cycas hotels Continuous paid Training and Development opportunities Free Healthcare plan Cycas Hospitality is a gift for any hospitality professional.
