Position Summary
As a member of the Global Supply Chain Leadership Team, you will create a patient-centric environment where compliance, service, partners, and our people are at the heart of everything you do. This role is responsible for Global Supply Chain Planning activities related to Strategic Supply Chain Planning & S&OP Execution, Amicus’s Digital Supply Chain, and Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Ensure Senior leadership sponsorship and consensus, demonstrating the value and strategic importance to the S&OP/IBP process and impact on business outcomes.
2. Lead the Global Demand and Supply process, ensuring accurate demand forecasts, monitoring trends, and subsequent Supply plan balancing to ensure that optimum inventory levels are held across the various Supply Chain nodes. Champion Demand and Supply KPI’s e.g., Forecast accuracy, Supply Plan Adherence.
3. Leadership of the S&OP/Integrated Business Planning process which includes Master Data Management, Demand and Supply Planning, Inventory Management, and Reporting/Analytics.
4. Leader and key stakeholder for Amicus’s Digital Supply Chain systems (i.e., ERP/Forecasting/Supply Planning). This includes the sourcing, design, development, implementation, training, and ongoing execution, management, and improvement of Digital Supply Chain systems and processes. Lead the strategic planning of digital capabilities across the Global Supply Chain.
5. Lead, Design and Execute the Supply Chain Launch process, ensuring cross-functional alignment through standardized launch management tools and processes to deliver launch execution while achieving overall launch objectives.
6. Lead & Coach the Global Supply Chain Planning team – Developing departmental goals and objectives.
7. Lead & Coach the Supply Chain Excellence activities and governance – Developing departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
Educational Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline required (i.e., Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business, Finance, etc.).
2. MBA or MS a plus.
3. APICS or related certifications a plus.
Professional Work Experience Requirements
1. 15+ years of progressive Supply Chain experience desired within life sciences or related industry (considerations made for individuals with advanced degrees/education).
2. Qualified candidates will have a knowledge of Supply Chain planning concepts and best practices.
3. Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and practices.
4. Strong process and systems knowledge preferred. Experience in the areas of Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Launch Planning, Materials Management, Inventory Management, and Sales & Operations Planning strongly preferred.
5. Strong data analysis, data management, and quantitative skills preferred. Oracle or equivalent ERP experience preferred.
6. Experience with Computer Systems Validation, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other regulatory requirements preferred.
7. Detailed experience of business and financial analysis and influencing business decisions. Strong consensus building and persuasive skill base.
